Patent attorney & keen to set up IP office in Belgium?

Do you have what it takes to open EP&C's newest branch office? Are you a qualified European (and Belgian) patent attorney in the market for a new adventure and do you have the necessary drive, ambition and experience we're looking for? If you do, then EP&C might be just the place for you.

EP&C is a modern, full-service IP law firm with offices in Amsterdam, Breda, Utrecht and The Hague. Continuing growth in our international client base has led us to look outside The Netherlands for future expansion; that's why we are looking for a new and experienced patent attorney to help us start up an office in Belgium initially from our offices in Breda.

We are looking for a registered European - preferable also Belgian - patent attorney; someone with private practice and/or industry experience and an existing professional network in this target region.

Protection & Inspiration

You will be expected to provide expert legal advice and careful guidance to help your clients manage their intellectual property. This will involve advice on obtaining and enforcing patents, trademarks and designs, a thorough understanding of the Belgian legal system and its formalities, a working knowledge of the latest developments in your clients' fields and enthusiasm for their businesses, inventions and ideas.

You will also be expected to:

• set up an IP branch office in Belgium, initially, from our offices in Breda 
• develop long-term relationships with (new) clients 
• meet commercial and corporate targets 
• expand your existing network in the Belgian/Flemish industry as well as legal circles.
  

This will demand a commercial and target-oriented approach and good management skills. You will be expected to familiarise yourself with your clients' businesses and philosophies whilst working as part of an ambitious and hard-working team. Your goal: to protect your clients' ideas and innovations whilst inspiring them to accomplish even more.
