Even though he did a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Systems & Control, Safien wanted to do more than just technical work. Since he became a trainee patent attorney in 2020 he has been able to combine his knowledge of engineering and technology with his penchant for business strategy and commerce.
"In intellectual property law, just like in the systems and control engineering I studied, an adjustment of the smallest detail can have a tremendous impact. Not just when it comes to protection, but on the organisation as a whole." Safien uses this knowledge to achieve the best possible protection. He always works in a disciplined, critical and inventive manner.
