After studying molecular sciences and working in academia for over a decade, I began my career in intellectual property as an in-house IP specialist at an international vegetable breeding company. There, I was involved in protecting plant-related inventions and managing licensing agreements.
What I love most about my current role as a Patent Attorney at EP&C is the unique combination of science, patent law, and strategy it offers. Each invention is unique, and every company has different business objectives, so no patent application or IP strategy is the same.
Another aspect I enjoy is educating about IP. Together with my colleagues, I provide IP workshops for academics and founders. I also write weekly LinkedIn posts explaining various aspects of patenting.
Patent with purpose, always let your business plan guide your IP decisions.
