As an expert partner, EP&C will guide entrepreneurs in protecting and strategically developing their innovations. Startups will gain fast access to specialized insights and strategic advice on building a strong and sustainable IP position.

EP&C joined the Limburg Startup network at the end of 2025 as a resident of incubaThor at Thor Park. With this partnership, the collaboration is now being further deepened and structurally embedded.

“With EP&C, we are bringing in additional expertise that perfectly matches the needs of growing companies. This enables us to support our community even better during crucial stages of their development,” says Marc Beenders, Sr Corporate Community Manager at LSU.

Building on a Strong Foundation

Within the Limburg Startup network, intellectual property support has long been an important pillar. Startups can count on accessible guidance, fast and clear answers, and a dedicated point of contact that actively thinks along and responds proactively. As of today, EP&C is enthusiastically taking over this role.

Together with the network of incubators, LSU and EP&C will organize various initiatives, including information sessions, one-on-one guidance, and the sharing of expert insights. In this way, awareness will continue to grow around the importance of protecting ideas and brands correctly and at an early stage.

Startups based at Corda INC, GreenVille, BioVille, Agropolis, IncubaThor, C-Mine Crib, DronePort, and Agropolis can already rely on workspace facilities and guidance. From now on, they can also turn to EP&C for all their questions regarding protection and intellectual property.

“Through this collaboration with LSU, we can help startups within a strong network think from the very beginning about how to protect and strategically develop their innovations in a smart way. Intellectual property is often a key driver for growth, collaboration, and investment for young companies,” says Jeroen Meesters, Belgian, Dutch, and European Patent Attorney at EP&C.

Added Value for the Community

 Thanks to the new partnership, startups can count on:

•    direct access to specialized expertise;
•    personal guidance and advice;
•    practical support with protection and growth-related challenges;
•    knowledge sharing through sessions and content.

In addition, EP&C will also maintain an active presence within the various incubators to stay close to entrepreneurs and respond quickly to their questions.

Looking Ahead

With this collaboration, Limburg Startup continues to invest in a strong and future-oriented entrepreneurial ecosystem. By working together with complementary expert partners, the organization aims to support startups as effectively as possible in their development and growth.
