Vacancy: Interim HR Professional – Temporary Assignment (Rijswijk)
Interim HR Professional – approximately 6-month assignment, Rijswijk (up to 32 hours)
At EP&C, everything revolves around innovation – and people. For a temporary assignment, we are looking for an Interim People & Organisation Professional who can help us further strengthen our HR (P&O) policies and processes. Your focus will be entirely on policy, projects and structure. Case management and individual employee files are not part of your role. Your work will help our organisation operate more clearly, efficiently and future-proof.
Your role at EP&C
In this interim role, you will work closely with the People & Organisation Manager and make a visible contribution to the foundation on which EP&C can continue to grow. You will take a close look at how we work, identify where there is room for improvement and help to firmly anchor policies, processes and systems. You combine substantive expertise with a calm, structured way of working.
You will have the space to analyse, ask critical questions and build. At the same time, you will join an engaged and approachable team in which collaboration and trust are key. You are an independent advisor, but never on your own.
“When we build clear HR structures together, the entire organisation feels the impact immediately. That’s what gives me energy.”
– Annemarie de Bruin, Manager M&O
What you will be working on
You will help shape clear, future-proof HR structures. That starts with content: developing, updating and implementing policies on a range of topics. At the same time, you will play an important role in projects that move our organisation forward, such as the implementation of new systems, appraisal methods or our absence/illness policy.
You will dive into data, make analyses understandable and translate figures into management information that provides direction. You will also safeguard the quality and compliance of our work through audits and checks, for example on GDPR, health & safety and the Transparent and Predictable Working Conditions Act. You will review processes, streamline where necessary and create clear documentation: from process descriptions to templates and handbooks.
You will deliver:
You work in a results-oriented way and leave behind something that stands. For example:
- current, clear and embedded HR policies
- processes and systems that are efficient, logical and compliant
- projects that move forward and are completed on time and to a high standard
What we are looking for in you
We are looking for someone who brings experience, overview and calm. You can quickly grasp complex information and translate it into practical proposals. You work in a structured way, ask the right questions and keep the bigger picture in view. You communicate clearly and are pleasant to work with.
You bring:
- a higher professional (HBO) or university degree in HRM, Business Administration or a related field
- extensive experience as an HR advisor or policy advisor
- proven experience with policy development, project-based work and process improvement
- strong analytical skills
- an independent, structured and accurate way of working
- experience with HR systems is an advantage
What you can expect from us
You will take on a temporary assignment in which you can really make a difference. We provide a clear scope and defined objectives so you can quickly get a grip on your work and know where you add value.
You can count on:
- an assignment of approximately 6 months with a market-based rate
- full focus on policy, projects and process improvement
- an organisation with an open and equal way of working
- short lines of communication and a professional, approachable working environment
- no case management or individual employee counselling, so you have time to build the foundations
- the possibility to work in a hybrid set-up
